9) School: chemistry (I'm actually understanding -- sorta), remembering Algebra 2 stuff from the begining if the school year, torturing my brain with Spanish, trying to find deep and meaningful comments/answers for the poetry unit in English Honors, doing all of the extra US History Honos homework that I didn't do in class because I was trying o do algebra 2 math stuff (see above), and....thats it.

10) Ummmmm. I can't think of a number 10, but I wanted my list to have a nice round, even number so this is number 10. There probably is a number 10, but my brain has been turned to mush because of Algebra and spanish sooooo I can't remeber number 10.

Of Starvation In A Moving Vehicle

While driving to California, you get very bored. That bordom causes you to o strange things such as:

: pretending that you are so hungry that you are eating the car. It was way fun and entertained us for about an hour (trying to get the perfect picture)

Heaven = Spring Vacation + Road Trip to Cali

This Spring Break, everyone except Dad (he had to work) packed up and drove to California to visit our Grandma Ruth (actually my great grandma!!). We had a really great time and had so much fun! Here are some of the pictures that I took. (Well Mom took some too.) It's only a small fraction of the pictures I took. In all I took 276 pictures total!!!!!

Thermite

For a Mutual activity, we went to BYU to see a chemistry proffespor from our ward show us cool chemistry stuff. We didn't actually blow some thermite up because (as you will soon see) thermite is very explosive. He showed us this video instead.

The Voice

This is a really cool song by Celtic Woman called The Voice. Just listen to the first song on my playlist at the bottom of the page. Here are the lyrics.

I hear your voice on the wind
And I hear you call out my name
"Listen, my child," you say to me
"I am the voice of your history
Be not afraid come follow me
Answer my call, and I'll set you free"
I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice, I will remain
I am the voice in the fields when the summer's gone
The dance of the leaves when the autun winds blow
Ne'er do I sleep throughout all the cold winter long
I am the force that in springtime will grow
I am the voice of the past that will always be
Filled with my sorrow abd blood in my fields
I am the voice of the future, bring me your peace
Bring me your peace, and my wounds, they will heal
I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I an the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice
I am the voice of the past that will always be
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice of the future
I am the voice, I am the voice
I am the voice, I am the voice

General Conference

This weekend was General Conference. It was really awesome because we watched it at home and not at church, (Not that there's anything wrong with going to church for Conference, because there isn't, but it's nice not to have to get all dolled up and get to church sometimes. Also, at home, we have really comfy chairs and I can lie under blankets if I want to.), and for almost the first time, I was exited to watch it beforehand. I was so exited to watch it all this week, and for the first time EVER, I watched all the sessions (except for the priesthood session, but I couldn't have watched that even if I wanted to. Men only.) and it was really cool to see and hear all of the different talks and topics, and to see the whole council of the twelve. All of the talks were good ones and I feel so good after listening to everyone. I love listening to the prophet, especially since we went to the conference center to see the Young Women General Broadcast at the conference center. I saw the prophet in real life and it was such an interesting experience for me. It was that I had never seen him in person before and to feel the spirit that he brought with him into the conference center was unforgettable. When he walked in, everyone stood up and went totally quiet. It was such an enlightening moment for me, and I'm really grateful that I went. Anyway, I'm still on my Conference Buzz, so the above message probably doesn't make sence to anyone, but it made sence to me when I wrote it, so I'm not gonna go back and try to change it. Happy Palm Sunday!!
